Tom was born, grew up and lives in WNC. He began his passion for the craft of Intarsia around 2004. It was spurred on from an article for wood magazine. Since that initial exposure to this craft he has made over 300 pieces of varying degrees and complexities. His pieces range in time from a few hours per item to as much as 200 hours to execute.
